🏃♀️ RUN WITH RICH IS BACK! 🏃♂️
We’re delighted to welcome Richard Whitehead MBE back to our school for another incredible 5km Run with Rich on Wednesday 16th September! 🎉
Last year, our amazing community raised over £700 — can we go even further this year? 💙
This year’s fundraising will support the Richard Whitehead Foundation https://www.whitehead.foundation/rwfevents and our brand-new Sensory Area, creating an inclusive space to support the wellbeing of all our students. 🌈

Teen Health will run 1 hour workshops for ALL year 7 students in batches of 15, starting on Wednesday 9th September and running until half term with Michelle in the Library.
This will be in groups of 15 and they will have 1 session each to complete a wellbeing transition workbook which they can keep – we trailed this last year and most students felt that they benefited from the experience. Michelle will talk to about managing change, friendships, identifying when they may need to ask for additional help. It also introduces the students to the support offered by Teen Health and how to access this in school.

To continue supporting the professional development and collaboration across LiFE MAT, we will be finishing early on the following dates to facilitate XMAT professional learning opportunities.

A huge thank you to our wonderful kitchen staff for opening the canteen earlier this week to accommodate our new Year 7s at the earlier time of 1:15pm.
This has made a huge difference, allowing our Year 7 students to settle in, find their way around, and begin to feel confident and comfortable around our school site.
