Year 6 → Year 7: Welcome to Ibstock School!
We’re excited to welcome our newest students as they begin their journey from primary to secondary education. 🌟
📅 Transition Evening: Thursday 25th June
Due to high temperatures ☀️🌡️, the evening will focus on essentials to keep everyone comfortable.
🕔 CREW session times – Emails have been sent home informing you which CREW your child will be in next year.
5:00–5:30pm — 7TRo
5:30–6:00pm — 7AFr
6:00–6:30pm — 7JLP
6:30–7:00pm — 7BGa
📍 On arrival: enter via the main gates and sign in at Reception
🥤 Refreshments available before heading to the Central Playground
📚 Transition Day: Thursday 2nd July (8:20am–2:45pm)
⏰ Students may arrive from 8:15am when the school gates open and will be welcomed onto site and directed to the Main Hall.
🔔 All students should have arrived by 8:25am, ready for the school bell at 8:30am.
🏫 Pick-up will be at 3:00pm, at the end of the normal school day.

It was a wonderful evening at the Year 11 Prom last Thursday. ✨
So many great memories made, lots of laughter shared, and a perfect way to celebrate the end of an amazing chapter. Wishing everyone the very best for the future! 🎓💫
On Monday, our Year 11 students were clapped out by the entire school as they completed their final day with us. A special moment marking the end of an important chapter.
Tonight, they celebrate together at Prom, reflecting on the memories, friendships and achievements of the past five years.
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you and wish you the very best of luck for the future. Whatever path you choose next, we know you will go on to achieve great things.

We`re proud to share how our students have been learning and progressing with Sparx Science this academic year.
They`ve shown outstanding commitment, resilience, and progress in their learning. 🌟
These statistics showcase the hard work, achievements, and growth of our students throughout the year. 👏📚
This afternoon a group of our Year 10s joined a session led by Sarah Laing who shared the story of her amazing nephew Billy.
Our students were fantastic, and then completed a session on keeping themselves and others safe, and how to reject peer pressure.
Thank you so much to Sarah for sharing her and her families experience.
This morning some of our amazing Year 7s were joined by Amanda Perkins from Citizens UK, and Sarah Laing from Ibstock. Sarah shared the sad story of the passing of her amazing nephew Billy.
Students then walked around Ibstock and identified areas that they felt were unsafe. They then began working with Amanda to create the foundations of a campaign.
Watch this space, you will be hearing lots more on this from these brilliant students.
